One very cold and rainy evening in December 2004, the family, Paddy, Sheila and the 2 girls called into our office in Las Rampas, looking for a bar and accommodation. We greeted them and made them comfortable and then continued to have an informal meeting discussing all aspects of buying a bar. We then discussed the bars that they had seen on the website. They had accommodation but were not happy with it and asked us to find them somewhere nearer town. After a few visits they decided to purchase Nellies (Formally called CJ's) and put in an offer. Bar in the Sun then handled the proceedings from there on. Once they had found the bar, we found a home for them through our apartment rental division (Apartments for Rent in Spain) within walking distance to the bar, which they were really happy with. The purchase of the bar went without a hitch and they were soon ensconced happily painting and decorating. We put them in touch with the suppliers and helped them initially showing them how to work the bar until they were confident. Any problems, they rang Bar in the Sun and it was sorted out there and then. The Bar is now in a superb condition and the food is excellent. They are well on the way to having a very successful and friendly bar which has a warm welcoming atmosphere every time you visit. We attended the opening night which was a great success, we wish them the Best of Luck for the future.
